  1. I'd like to think if they keep putting runners on base, someone is going to come through.
  2. I don't know if he misplayed the ball, did the right thing stepped back then tried to adjust in, the swing fooled him.
  3. Just a BS garbage run there, a more experienced OFer probably catches that ball.
  4. All he had to horsefeathers do is just make some contact, with the opponents worrying about his speed, they probably score a run.
  5. horsefeathers can't he ever just make some contact!!!!
  6. Apparently he's meeting with the Illinois sometime soon. Read something about meeting in California at Peja' house, Underwood, Mirkovic and Andrej there as well to help with the sell.
  7. Two of the HR's were of the wind aided Wrigley Field type, one was a legit HR. He did settle down, did not let the game get completely out of hand.
  8. So the Blazers have to beat one of the Suns, Clippers or Warriors for their 1st to be transferred to the Bulls? Is that correct?
  9. Not sold on Blackwell, don't think he's worth the money. The staff is sold on him, so, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
  10. Have to give credit to Denver, outplayed by Michigan and Wisconsin yet, managed to win the Frozen Four. Their goalie was very good and they took advantage of a relatively few number of offensive possessions.
  11. Corrected - Besides Yelich, Turang and Conteras, it's bad on bad on bad on bad.
  12. This team will start to hit and when it does it's going of horsefeathers bury these Pirates, the Reds and the Cardinals. I'd like to include the Brewers but, it seems everything they touch turns to gold*. *I know it's the Brewers and all, still, taking a glance at their line up I don't know how they'll be able to maintain. Besides Yelich, Turang and Conteras, it's bad on bad on bad.
  13. Something's off for Bregman, don't give the Pirates' pitching an ounce of credit, he's too a good a hitter to be popping everything up.
  14. Illini get a commitment from Stefan Vaaks appears to be highly rated, had a multitude of good games last season. If they retain their core, like where it's headed for the Illini. Illinois, with Mirkovic, will have the Big Ten' unicorn next season, not Michigan, not Purdue, not Michigan State, Illinois.
  15. 100 EV for Suzuki and, of course, it's an out. If Pirate had it that ball, it's probably a HR.
  16. Sure, right now, however, the Pirates lineup is still awful and will regress. As will the Cubs, just going to take a while.
  17. Bregman 2R HR to put an end to this horsefeathers, how does that sound?
  18. Bulls chances of getting an additional 1st in the 15-18 range are looking good. Given AK' no longer making the picks, there's a chance 2 top twenty picks could materialize into something for them.
  19. I'm with you, although, not a visible as other sports, it's been a minute since the Big Ten won the Frozen Four. Badgers might as well make it a sweep of hockey to go along the sweep of basketball.
  20. Very good, thought Michigan was the better team, the clearly better team, that's what a hot goalie can do.
  21. While good for the Big Ten it would be as annoying as horsefeathers if Michigan also wins the Frozen Four. Don't know if the Badgers can get past North Dakota and, assuming Michigan beats Denver, Michigan.
  22. It's not even this, it's his inability to consistently execute his pitches, the stuff is there, the execution is not. As someone previously mentioned he is who is, he may find some consistent execution in spots but, will never maintain. He is not someone to be relied upon for effectiveness.
  23. I think stuffing the run would go a long way towards an improved Bears defense. Being unable to effectively stop the rush was the biggest problem. Teams being able to run set up everything and also kept the defense on the field for too long a time. Stop the run, the QB pressures and sacks will come.
  24. There was a bit on the Big Ten network in which they were discussing the Big Ten' recent dominance across the sports spectrum. Mentioned the possibility of more NC's in hockey, baseball and lacrosse (more so on the women' side). When they said baseball I immediately thought no horsefeathers way, not even a remote possibility. Forgot UCLA and traditional college baseball power USC are now members so, I guess baseball is a possibility.
  25. The hell you say, since he came up, I don't think there's been many or, if any, series in which the Cubs missed Skenes.
