This is what drives me nuts about the Brewers' pixie dust, I know clowns like Vaughn, etc. are propped up by the pitching. Nevertheless, the Brewers' having success with players possessing large enough sample sizes to suggest they're below average to bad - Perkins, Hamilton, Bauers, Mitchell, Vaughn, Ortiz, yadda, yadda - is very frustrating. I could see one or, maybe, a couple them of getting it together and finding success but, all of them? WTF?! At least when the Cardinals where at their pixie dust height they actually had good players, HOF'ers in fact, Pujols, Rolen, etc. I could almost live with their success or, at least, reasonably justify it.
