    Turns out Loveland' pretty good, think many of us who follow Big Ten football knew he was good, slowed up early by injury and missing camp. Think Burden can play a little as well.

    So will Luther Burden yes, Odunze being out is bad thing but, it's not like the Bears are without weapons.

    Did the same thing vs. the Bears in Chicago last year, appeared Jaylon Johnson was going to pick it off until he tripped over the receiver' feet. As you said it's intentional, appears to be a calculated risk, looking for a DPI or the receiver makes a contested catch. I'd be okay with the Bears forcing several of these types of throws on Sunday, at least one of them will get picked off.

    I tell you one thing the Packers have already won in a big way - grooming. Matt LaFleur, I'm jealous, perfectly groomed, not a hair out of place, just amazing, bet he's a big time cologne guy as well. Have to recognize perfection. In such frigid temperatures does the hair gel freeze?

    I'd like to see the Bears win however, I'm under no delusions they'll win or expecting them to win. What I am certain about is the Bears have righted the ship and are trending towards a good team. The Packers dominance of the rivalry is coming to end and it's about horsefeathers time. As many have said, the Bears are playing with house money and we've yet to see the best from Caleb. Certainly about the best outcome many of us Bears' fans could have hoped for 2025.

    For certain, it's only a matter of when, not if, I remember Ben talking about December being the month when the offense is going to click. I think Caleb' getting close to taking a big leap, you can see it in the film studies.

    Awesome, thanks for the video. I have to think the Bears will not confuse and perplex the Packers like they did Eagles even so, with the Packers not confused and committed to stopping the run. That'll leave holes, maybe, leaving single coverage on Luther, DJ and Rome for Ben and Caleb to exploit.

    Monangai is a good tandem back, not a feature back, would like to see the Bears use a day 3 pick on a back to work in.

    Guess the kicker wasn't a complete dipshit, made the pro-bowl a couple of times and lead the NFL scoring in 72 and 74. By 1980, his was cocaine addict, guess he tried to commit suicide in 86. Today he's a drug abuse counselor which I can respect.

    I know it'll be cold but, I'm wondering if this will be a game where Caleb may have the chance at a big game. The Packers maybe having to play one of their best run stoppers - Wyatt - are almost certain to overreact/over commit to stopping the Bears' run game. Leaving lots of opportunity for Caleb, it's going to be the whole make the Bears QB play QB to beat us approach. Worked with Justin and Mitch, why not try it with Caleb? I know many are harping on some Caleb' missed throws and inconsistency, it's reasonable. After watching some of film though, one can see Caleb' getting closer and closer, it's going to happen and holy horsefeathers it's going to be something. Don't know if Bears fans will be able handle a team with an unstoppable offense.

    I remember as well, Forrest Greg, etc., the Bears kicking the horsefeathers out of them. For the longest time the Bears dominated the rivalry and had a substantial lead in the series then, the last 25-30 years happened. I do believe the tides are turning, the Bears may not begin to dominate the series again but, the days of it being one-sided in the Packers' favor are over. No more coaching incompetence and ****** QB's for the Packers to exploit.

    I'm fully convinced Flus was forced upon Poles. I also believe he and Warren relentlessly double teamed McCaskey to fire Flus. Had they not, there's no doubt Flus would have been allowed to finish the season. You know the whole we've never in season fired a HC nonsense.

    Win or lose, I'd like to see Caleb have big to great game vs. the Packers. Really drive home it's only a matter of time before Caleb and the Bears are a fixture among the best in the NFC.

    Watching the Vikings-Seahawks, sure appears Jefferson has completely checked out. I know the QB situation, to say the least, is bad, and it's getting to him. Very much enjoying this Vikings display of futility, even Tyson Bagent, with crappy coaching, was better than what Brosmer, with a supposedly superior coach, has thus far, shown. Thing that irritates me about the Vikings is they're media darlings, get way too much credit when they win and not enough criticism when they suck. If the Bears we're sinking it up like this, the media would be destroying them.

    I'll give Poles credit for playing the media during the coaching "search". They were relentless in their criticisms and he made them all look like fools the minute Ben Johnson was available. Poles knew BJ would be hot commodity and he, basically, had him in the fold before anyone else had a chance. One of the few times I can remember the Chicago Bears completely punking the media.

    Illini finish at 8-4, will get a decent bowl bid in which Jacas and maybe, Bailey, and a few others, won't play. Doesn't matter, it's the extra practices a bowl bid affords that are important. Still, a somewhat disappointing season, OL never fulfilled it's promise. There were hints in the very first game of the season, Western Illinois generated some pressure and sacked Luke Altmyer 3 times. Then the disaster at Indiana, towards the end of that game, Indiana only rushed 3 the OL still couldn't keep Luke clean. These last few games they couldn't run block worth a horsefeathers. Bielema might now regret going to such lengths to keep the OL together instead of getting a start on the future.

    I agree, clearly very talented but, very little progress, no evolution in the passing game at all. What they were doing today was the same limited passing game they were running from the start of the season.

    Superior talent vs. good talent with a very raw QB is not a recipe for a Wolverine victory.

    With Mitch and Justin you knew almost any early procedure, etc. penalty was a drive killer. This offense can, as you said, overcome some early mistakes. Haven't seen such resilience on offense for the Bears in a long, long time.

    It's only a matter of time, not if, but, when. The accuracy and footwork issues are correctable, when he starts to hit on 65-67% of his attempts, the numbers are really going to pop. This is not a Justin or Mitch situation with in-correctable flaws dooming them to failure. What's interesting is the Bears take on other sites. I see quite a bit of it's just luck, they'll be the same old Bears in the future. Honestly, they sound in denial. A few posters are not so fast, they acknowledge the coaching improvement, the improved offense and they'll probably be able to fix the defense in the off season. Maybe coming to grips with Bears' future being bright.

    Guess the Bears we're very creative in stopping the tush push. Firstly, Hurts did not get the first down, secondly, Wright waited a bit to get a clear path to Hurts and the ball, allowing him to rip it out. Have to give the coaching staff a lot of credit, think we'll see more teams trying to do the same on future tush pushes.
