  1. I still amazed that Looper wins at all with that mediocre crap he throws
  2. I don't believe there's a SS in baseball who drops as many throws as Theriot.
  3. Strike two to Looper was in the same location as ball four to Duncan.
  4. Is like the other night where that outside strike zone kept getting wider for Cain?
  5. Doesn't that clown starting for the Cards tonight have terrible peripherals? Yet, is somehow 3-0?
  6. This game' over, now the question is by how much and how many K's will Lincecum rack up? I'm going by 1 run (fake rally in the ninth) and a baker' dozen for Lincecum.
  7. Checked the box score - 9 BB! What a refreshing change from past Cub teams, years past, no way would they have allowed Zito to pitch himself into trouble. We all knew if given the chance Zito would pitch himself into trouble, I glad the Cubs knew this as well.
  8. If the word on Sheets is true, why would they(the Brewers) trade for CC Sabathia? If signing Sheets is an issue, Sabathia' signing is a much larger issue.
  9. If that helps the Cubs net AJ Burnett or, better yet, CC Sabathia, it works for me.
  10. Right now its very frustrating but, I believe at the end of the season we'll see the Cubs in the playoffs and White Sox making fall/winter plans. The White Sox, who are hitting HR's in bunches, are looking good however, at some point that'll stop and they'll fall back and out of the AL Central lead. As we've seen with some of the recent Cub teams the all or nothing offense doesn't produce playoff teams.
  11. I don't know if it'll help or not but if that floating strike zone shows up tomorrow I hope Lou get's in the Umpire' face.
  12. That first pitch was nowhere near the strike zone - not that it matter much.
  13. Sure would be nice if Ramirez could get a hit this series, who knows, maybe this inning?
  14. If the Umpire is consistent at all Cabera should have no chance.
  15. Once again the White Sox reflect just how one dimensional their offense is 5 of 6 runs via the long ball.
  16. Nice K by Gallagher there despite not getting a few calls, who wants to bet balls located in the same place Gallagher threw will magically be strikes next half inning?
  17. I know there' some overt negativity but, this game is over, its not a matter of will the White Sox win but, by how many runs.
  18. This team couldn't beat a HS team on the road, seriously, how could a good team like the Cubs be so impotent on the road?
  19. I'm thinking Lou gotta start more hitting and running with Lee at bat and a runner on first.
  20. If Gallagher keeps the ball in the park the White Sox won't score - they're the very definition of the team that waits for the 3R HR.
  21. If possible I'd like Gallagher kept out of trade talks including him probably means Marquis stays in rotation.
  22. Unless its post game comments such as - Dempster bested again, we just have to tip our caps and go get tomorrow - what the White Sox say is immaterial.
