  1. Pujols flied out to center on to the 9th.
  2. With a very strong sense of professionalism, Baker' apologetic attitude towards veteran players enables their messy execution, etc. I know Lou isn't be end all of no no nonsense managers but, would Fonzie have apologized to Baker led team the other day?
  3. Ahh the joys of your closest pursuer having a non-effective bullpen!!!!
  4. Well lets look on the bright side - provided the Dodgers can keep them off the board its only a matter of time before the Dodgers get to the Brewer bullpen.
  5. Anyone catch the sign by the Marlins' fan? She had an attempt at something like Completely Useless By September however, she misspelled Completely. What a "moran".
  6. I hope Marshall get the same zone, by my count, Sanchez threw one strike the others were way off the plate.
  7. I believe your correct, 1st and 3rd, 1 down, Manny up
  8. Got back to game late but, finally, the Cubs beat these $%#!@#, looks like Z recovered nicely after throwing BP for a couple of innings. Not to mention another strong performance by arguably the best bullpen in the NL.
  9. For those who are watching just sit back while Johnson paints the black and Cubs pitchers get their pitches that split the middle called balls.
  10. And there's your game, how the Cubs forfeit the next two and go home after tonight's game?
  11. Gotta love the way this team just pulls that crap out of their ass when the Cubs come to town.
  12. And this is the same team that was shut down by that "good' Cardinal' staff?
  13. Way to go Z, walking a very low OBP Uggla, good work.
  14. Parra/Billingsly Bush/Lowe Suppan/Kershaw Nice. Those are pretty favorable matchups for the Dodgers. Dodgers have a tough lineup too Ethier Kemp Kent Manny Loney Martin Nomah Casey Blake Juan Pierre off the bench. This will be nice test for the Brewers after everyone saying how unbeatable they are after going 8-2 against 3 of the worst teams in history. What's really great is: A. They're facing a team with more than one major league starting pitcher B. They're facing a lineup that'll be able to hit that crap the Brewers call a bullpen (one can rave all they wish about these unbeatable Brewers but, when you've got Solomon Torres as your closer you're going to have problems)
  15. Much like the White Sox and Brewers if Z keeps the ball in the park the Marlins won't score much and the Cubs should win by 3+ runs.
  16. Not to nitpick but, why can't the Cubs get, Infante, a lifetime .258 hitter, with a .320ish OBP out?
  17. The Marlins are your typical feast or famine team, bunch of low OBP guys with a lot of power, keep them in ball park they don't score (I think Sulley' unbeatable Brewers are also a feast or famine team).
  18. Lilly hit Escobar in the ribs, Escobar decided to be a bitch and point out there, both benches cleared but everyone just stood around, and then after he stopped crying he took 1st base. Thanks, I still maintain that Cox is one the Cubs should be throwing at although, throwing a ball into the dugout would be very strange.
  19. I tune in to hear Pat talking about a warning to both benches, what the hell happened?
  20. Braves score their token run, I don't think the Cubs are done pounding Glavine.
  21. I know the Cardinals are just about done but, Miles with a two out bunt single epitomizes how pathetic they are.
  22. Ahh who cares? When all is said and done they won't come within 10 games of a playoff spot.
  23. It really ticks me off when guys like Francoeur, who swing at anything in the area code, walk against the Cubs.
  24. Because he stood for about 3 seconds to admire his single. I hope he does it again, no way should he let Cox and shameful tactics intimidate him, I've advocated brushing Carlos Lee back or even knocking him on his big ass never throwing at him with the intent to hurt.
