    I don't know if the Reds are good or if it's just one of those years where everything works out. Beyond Rolen and Votto, they've got an awful lot of fringe players playing very well for them - Miguel Cairo, Ramon Hernandez, etc. - I could see them winning the division this year and falling off the map next year.

    To be fair though, even Gomes can crush balls placed on a tee for them, in fact, any hitter can - whoops, I meant every hitter except a Cub. Lee and Ramirez couldn't hit .250 in a slow pitch softball league.

Play the one who can't hit - ahhhh, check? Unless I missed it, I wish some reporter would get the balls to ask Lou this question. Haha question Lou? Nobody in the Chicago media has the balls to question Lou on anything they are all terrified of him. The media that cover the Cubs give Lou a free pass. No, they'll ask him but he'll get all flustered and throw up his hands and say, "What can I do!?" Then they'll back off. Play the guy who can hit numbnuts.

    You heard it here. Byfuglien = Brock. Not even close, I may be way off here but, losing Byfuglien isn't all that big a blow. He was the beneficiary of playing on a line with Toews and Kane and was perhaps, dusted with a little playoff pixie dust. I'm thinking Beach can give you the same play maybe even more scoring.

    Wow, while not scoring many goals I thought Hossa was fantastic throughout the whole of the playoffs.

    In watching the reply of Kane' goal, it appears Sharp knew the puck was in as well. Looks as if he starts celebrating before Kane.

    I'd say that's about right, in deference to NewUserName, the Hawks are younger and most importantly, better along with a quality management, they're not going away anytime soon.

    I heard it. After a couple minutes of the confusion I turned on the radio feed and the delay was such that it was just happening. Weidemann was just as confused as Doc was. It's too bad it happened that way, but who gives a [expletive]. So they were pretty much like what everyone else was like? I love post-title interviews and it's ever cooler when it's players you've watched and rooted for all year. Too bad Foley wasn't there on the call.

    Yes, the Hawks were just fantastic tonight from the opening puck drop. Was hoping Hossa would score the game winner but, I'll take it!!!!!!!!

    I really can't stand it when average to below average players like Glen Davis go through historiconics when they happen to make a big play. You should be at least good to do all that extra sh*t.
