    A limp-shouldered Farve somehow finding the strength to play? Not every final stand by a great player has to end in a glorius victory, I'm certain there's been a non-story book before in this situation, hasn't there?     Once again the Illini losing to a vastly inferior team simply because they didn't play hard, if the Illini come out, play hard and aggressively attack UIC' zone they win by at least 20.

    Sam Smith' suggesting the Bulls take a shot at Howard tonight, I've heard people say Howard' a dirty player. His cheap shots on Rose would seem to suggest so but, not having seen enough I wouldn't know if he's really a cheap shot artist.

    Does anyone really believe the Bears will manage to split the last six games? Beyond Detroit and maybe Minnesota I don't see the Bears winning any of NE, NYJ, GB and PHI.

    LOL at those who predicted the Heat would match or eclipse the Bulls' record 72 wins. At their current 9-8 they'll have to go 63-2 just to match the Bulls, could happen but, I doubt it.

    Hawks have doubled 'em up in shots 34-17 and it's still just tied 2-2, is this team ever going win another home game?

    Yep. Their effort is just horrendous at home. 0-4 at home against the likes of the Oilers, Devils, and Jackets. We have ZERO points in those four games. They're playing in some sort of a haze, Toews just loafs in and makes Khabbi look good. Someone better give them a swift kick in ass.

    Boynton is terrible. Both Cullimore and Hendry and hands-down better than he is, and that says way more about him than it does about either of them. I said it last week when they were winning games and I'm saying it now. This team looks very shaky. Too many shots on goal. Not a lot of energy out of the forecheck. Not getting much from anyone outside of Toews, Hossa, Kane and Sharp. That's just not going to cut it. Campbell coming back will help, and once he comes back I think they just need to go with Cullimore and Hendry as the 3rd defensive pairing. Frankly, Jon Scott is useless. Nice try on that signing, Bowman, but he brings nothing to the table. And I don't mind keeping Boynton around in case injuries pop up, but he should be a healthy scratch most nights. I believe one could a make point that Kane and Toews haven't been very good, they're both in the +/- red. Wrong about Toews he's +2 but, still don't believe he's played very well.

    Its going to be some time before this team puts it together, maybe take half or more of the season. There's talent no doubt but, Soup's gotta get back.

In any case, Kinsler with the final nail. What do you mean a reference? Hardcorecubfan explicitly stated that the Rays have won the World Series, which is simply wrong. I'm thinking he may have gotten the Rays mixed up with the Marlins. Good bye Rays!!!!!
