  1. I'd stay away from McDaniels as well, do not like the idea at all.
  2. This game, like the last game and the playoff game against NO is another opportunity for Nagy to go hyper-aggressive, they've literally nothing to lose. However, I'm certain he'll find a way to be the big [expletive] he is, watch, the Bears will be hanging in there, keeping it close, maybe with a chance to take the lead on a drive, it'll be fourth and a centimeter around midfield. And, of course, he'll punt, the Packers will drive the length of the field and put the game away. If that happens I'd fire him the very second the game ends, have some else, anyone, Andy Dalton, do the post game PC.
  3. Well, technically, this will be Nagy' last game against GB as the Bears HC so, whatever' being reported is true. Thinking about Justin Fields I rather he not play in this one, let Dalton and Foles take the beating. Make certain he's ready to go for the remaining games against the Vikings and Seahawks.
  4. Good job by the Illini tonight, had a little 8-5 action going against them, still managed to win. Out rebounded those piss yellow and black fucks by nearly 30, had they committed a few less TO's would have won by double digits. I loathe Iowa basketball, hope ISU puts a beating on them next.
  5. Dip horsefeathers pathetic moron that is Nagy never fails to show, talks all big about being aggressive, etc., needs to win, goes for it on 4th and 8 earlier, has the running game going, midfield 4th and 2 - I'll take a penalty and punt.
  6. The fact that Pace and Nagy thought he would keep them competitive enough to start him over Fields is yet another strike against them Yep, if it weren't for some draft day stupidity in the Bears favor, that was their plan, Andy Dalton and Nick Foles, which is more than enough fuel to fire both of them.
  7. Plus 5 more after this, 5 more games of Dalton throwing, regardless of Kmet' health status, to Graham, 5 more games of Nagy stunting the development of younger players because he thinks he's got a better chance to win by going with trusted veterans. It's really depressing, January 10, 2022 cannot come soon enough.
  8. Dalton was, is, and always will be Nagy' QB, I'm certain of it and now, with Fields being limited, Nagy has his excuse to go with his boy. Maybe, its for the best - Nagy' not capable of fully utilizing the things Fields does best and more times than not puts him in harms way, I'd rather see Dalton get smashed than Fields.
  9. Really do not believe the Big Ten West has its best possible representative in Iowa, Michigan should win handily.
  10. No, not Nagy. I don't have a specific person in mind really. You never know The McCaskey' ability to get things wrong almost all the time makes this plausible. Which is really pathetic, its overwhelmingly obvious Nagy has no idea how to put players, specifically, QB's in positions to succeed. Obvious to all except the McCaskey's, that's why, until it actually occurs I'm not convinced Nagy is gone. Speaking of coaching I've an irrational hatred for Mac Jones, he's average as average can be, there's nothing special in any of his abilities yet, he's looking really good because of a coaching staff recognizing his strengths and catering to them. Would be really nice to if Justin Fields had such a coaching staff.
  11. A competition of coaching ineptitude in which, unfortunately, for Detroit Lion fans, Dan Campbell won. Although, Nagy gave it the old college try - that timeout prior to Campbell using his last timeout - why?
  12. WTF are you talking about? Yes they do. Ownership owes a ton of information. If this ownership, in this season, with all the circumstances surrounding it don't owe any information to anybody, then nobody owes anybody any information, ever. or what, Chicago residents will go scorched earth and burn down Halas Hall? As I posted above, the McCaskeys have long ago set an expectation of cowardice & general ineptitude. If those were things that could effect their power over the franchise, the results have long ago taken hold. Why would this year be any different? sell the team, ya schmucks Yes, to the selling of the team, by all means yes. I stated the McCaskey's do not care about winning and the Bears will not win until they are sold. Someone correctly pointed out they do care about winning just don't know how, it's evident by their loyalty to Pace. This whole mess is squarely on the shoulders of Pace, think about it, his 2021 plan, until Broncos and 49ers, etc. got stupid and allowed Fields to fall in the draft, was Andy Dalton backed up by Nick Foles.
  13. After Nagy, if Pace remains I do not believe its a good idea to leave the selection of a HC up to him. They've got to go outside, find someone who'll give them advice, direction on the best fit for a HC. I know there's a best fit, McCaskey's are not capable of locating that best fit, this is a problem.
  14. Trying to play with the after effects of a concussion, it's obvious something' not right, took himself out the game last night. Illini fans dumping all over the kid, let them try and play with lingering effects from a concussion. Fortunately, I've never experienced a concussion, heard from others who have and many say it took several weeks to feel right again.
  15. Why the horsefeathers do the McCaskey's like Pace so much?
  16. Isn't that 8-5 over this 13 game stretch of probable playoff teams?
  17. It's obvious a house cleaning such as the Bulls did is in order for the Bears. Hire a GM, who in turn will hire a HC, etc. and like the Bulls, they'll figure what pieces are worth keeping and build around them. I know the right hires are out there, just don't know if the McCaskey's are capable of identifying them.
  18. Don't know what more evidence is required to fire Nagy this very instance. Is there a more ineffective coach after a bye week than Nagy? I don't care they lost, in fact, its probably for the best they did but, the allowance of repeated late hits and cheap shots on Fields has to stop.
  19. 7 for 7 Do not think they'll be able to move the ball in such a manner against U of M, they'll score for sure, however, not in such a hot knife through butter manner.
  20. If I'm not mistaken OSU has scored on every possession.
  21. 400+ yards of total offense thus far, really, what was the point of the Spartans punting? OSU is just going to take it and score again, where they start a possession doesn't matter. What not try to get a first down simply to keep the ball away from the OSU offense?
  22. How about Ryan Day as a potential replacement for Nagy? Is that too far out there?
  23. That launch a couple steps from the charity strip was awesome.
  24. I knew the Spartans really had no chance of stopping the Buckeyes hell, they couldn't contain Purdue, even the lowly Illini held the Boilermakers down and probably should have won that game. But, I did believe the Spartans would score some points.
  25. One rumor going around is that the Bears move Pace up in a director of football operations type of position and potentially hire a GM from within underneath him (Champ Kelly is a popular name here). Part of me really likes this idea. The Bears do actually have a decent scouting department and Kelly is well respected around the league and probably gets some GM interviews this offseason. If the Bears clean house, he won't be jobless for long. Part of me really likes this move. With all going on with a potential new stadium and all Pace has done for the off-field product (Halas Hall), I think some continuity could be a good thing. But also, wouldn't have him as the primary guy selecting his 3rd coach. Is that a legit rumor? I saw someone on twitter talking about this but it was written as if it was an idea they had and not something that was actually rumored. I know that the McCaskey family likes Pace a lot and I'll admit he's done a good bit to modernize the Bears football operations, but I just don't know how it changes anything if he's elevated. Does the new GM have full autonomy over the draft and player moves or would they be Jed to Ryan's Theo? At some point the Bears are going to need draft capital to build around Fields and I think Pace has done a poor job of using his resources efficiently. Because of that, it's hard to look at the Bears future and think that its in good hands with him running the show. He's done a poor jobs of managing resources and hiring head coaches what does that leave? Are these the primary responsibilities of a GM?
