Jose Macias: heard anything?

I haven't been keeping up religiously with the hot stove league this offseason, but I think I'm up to date as far as trades and signings (thanks to ESPN). We've kept Perez, which I can live with IF we have a reliable everyday shortstop that Dusty actually plays everyday. But I don't want to see Macias - I'm hoping Jim isn't bringing him back?

Dusty getting an extension would be less funny than either of those two, because if Macias rotted at the end of the bench I wouldn't care, but the fact that he's Dusty's boy off the bench 1st every time.....

I believe that his agent wants to see what Damon gets before he starts looking for the type of extension he is loooking for. We're talking franchise CF here. I'd say take whatever Damon gets times 1.5 in both years and money.
