Problems with NSBB?

Has anyone else had problems connecting the last couple of days? Hopefully the problems are corrected because I need my daily "fix" of NSBB.

How ironic that a post about the problems with NSBB at the moment was accidentally posted twice due to the same problems it is mentioning...

 

But yes, I haven't been able to get on for over two days with few exceptions.

Why don't we all try and turn off avatars and images for awhile until these issues get settled? It may not be the root of the issue, but the extra bandwidth it would save can't hurt.

Nice effort, but in my opinion this issue has nothing to do with bandwidth.

Everytime I try to post I get a real wierd message, then it tells me I have to refresh. After I do that it tells me the thread is no longer available. After I leave NSBB and come back the thread is there (except the spring training, that one is still gone) and I have multiple posts on it. I guess this is one part apology for the multiple posts and one part a question to see if anyone else having the same the same problem, and if there is anything I can do to fix it. I assume it is just related to what is going on with the site, but I wanted to make sure.

The trick is, after you press submit and get the funny screen, to just use the back button on your browser to go to the thread page and refresh. That prevents the multiple posts.

Despite the fact that I am laughing at your multiple posts.. I pulled off the rare triple post earlier because of the same problem. I guess it'll help me get my post count up, since I've been here since 2003 and have all of about 300 posts.
