T-minus 86 minutes to kickoff of the Big XII Championship game.

 

As a PSU fan, clearly I want either Texas or USC to lose (or both), and LSU losing to Georgia would also take away any chance that the Tigers could jump the Nittany Lions in the poll. Not that I see this happening. Orange Bowl here we come!

Yes and no, Cuse. FSU is struggling this year because of recruiting woes over the past three years, compounded by injuries. When this team was healthy, let's not forget they were 7-0. After that, they lost 3 of their starting OL, and 3 of their top 6 DL members. Since that point, it's all been downhill.

 

They had the number 4 class last year, and the few years before that were top five as well. Aside from injuries, could it be more coaching than the recruiting?

 

 

Edit: Just found this list 52 reasons why ESPN sucks. Didn't think it warranted a new thread, but some of it is pretty funny. There are some vulgarities in it, thought I would put a warning in case that offends some.

That many teams? TNT is ALWAYS Houston vs. San Antonio. You wouldn't think they would play enough times to make a full season of coverage, but that's all they play.

Overheard on the news yesterday: Both USC and UCLA students have one similarity: they were both accepted into USC. :D

I'm rooting for USC simply because the Rose Bowl really would be one for the ages. I think I'm leaning toward picking Texas, USC's 33-game winning streak notwithstanding. Texas just looks so dominant right now.

Give credit to Texas, they won at Ohio $tate and pretty much steamrolled every other team they played.

 

This fan votes Vince Young for Heisman. Talent-wise, this has to be one of the best Heisman races in recent memory... Leinart and Bush are #1 calibre picks, and Young is a sure top 5 pick. If Quinn goes to NYC, that's four Top 10 picks up for the Heisman.

UT is classless. Against Mizzou, they went for it on 4th and goal near the end of the 3rd quarter up 4+ scores.

From the Colorado fans I've heard talk, they are that bad. Texas is definitely in a different class then Colorado athletically.

That is terrible. I hate teams that do that. A few years ago when ND fake punted against Stanford when they were up 4+ scores I was outraged. That was when I lost all respect for Ty.

 

At least they finally pulled Young. I do wish Texas would quit running out of bounds though. Lets get this game over with and start the real game.
