i'd like to see the aggies pull off the upset, but gary thorne is so pulling for texas a and m it's not even funny.

yeah i've noticed that too. Must really suck to be a Texas fan if your watching this game.

Gary Thorne is great at doing hockey games, but I'm not a huge fan of him in other sports. Especially that Astros no-hitter, I swear he said the word no hitter 150 times in the last 3 innings.

EDIT: And Ed Cunningham is an abomination. There's a fine line between analyzing what is going on and second-guessing decisions as an analyst. Ed runs through the line like an olympic sprinter.

Texas had 2 chances to put A&M pretty much away yet they go 3 and out and then after recovering a fumble on a punt return, they go 3 and out again and miss a FG.

Aggies have to take advantage of this.

That's that.

In a way, I'm glad Penn State has one loss. This way I won't be pissed when they are undefeated but not in the Rose Bowl (entirely due to preseason rankings)

Wouldn't LSU go to the Rose Bowl before PSU. I don't know, I'm just asking. I do think LSU is the better team though.

PSU is in front of LSU in the BCS as of now, so no. Of course, that might change with LSU still having games remaining. Speaking of which, LSU is only up a TD on Arkansas approaching halftime.

Yes, I'm watching that game right now. If Spencer Tillman doesn't quit saying "brother" I'm going to e-mail CBS. He sounds like a wrestler or something.

Arkansas driving in FG range with a chance to upset LSU.

Holy cow. 1st and 10 at the 33 and Arkansas shows why they're not going to a bowl game. They lose one on a run, throw what should have been an interception, and then on third down, they give up the easy sack for a loss of 7.

4th and 18, the offensive line blows it, the QB breaks free, and then chucks it up for the interception. LSU escapes with a 19-17 win.

Why the heck did they throw it on second and third downs? You need to get yards on the ground to set up the FG, not give up a dropped would-be interception and a sack. That was terrible play-calling.

Haha, of course Nebraska is blowing out Colorado at home. If Iowa State wins in Kansas tomorrow I'm going to be sick.

Mizzou screwed itself once again. I can't really say I'm surprised that this is happening though.

and the fans at Boulder are acting like idiots as the game was delayed for students throwing water bottles on the field. Right after Nebraska missed a FG, a fan ran out on the field as well. Pretty sad state of events in this game.

Anyone give Arkansas a shot against LSU? I wouldn't be surprised if the Razorbacks at least made it close.

Well, whaddya know? Anyone think LSU is overrated and will get beat by Georgia in Atlanta? I think so.

The only way it matters for Penn St is if Texas loses next week to Iowa St or Colorado, which isnt going to happen.

Has any school become as dislikeable as Colorado as of late? The fans running on the field and behaving like idiots just adds more to a pretty bad regime of Gary Barnett. As much as I dislike Mich, Ohio St and ND their fans have always seemed at least civil(yes not all fans are perfect) and for the problems these schools have had it is nothing like what has been going on at Colorado

Does anyone think it is possible that either USC or Texas loses and still stays in the Rose Bowl. It was discussed on ESPN Radio yesterday and all the "experts" said that even if they lose they will still go to the Rose Bowl.

NewUser, I agree with you about Colorado. That program has taken a nose dive, and the fans are doing nothing to help fix the image. It kind of reminds me of Miami under Johnson and Erickson.

I think USC could. Their one loss would be to UCLA, a top 25 team, wheras Oregon, PSU, etc.'s losses were to "lesser" teams. Plus the media has had Texas and USC in the Rose Bowl since August. It would be bad for business if that didn't happen

Right, I was thinking they lost to Arizona, but that was UCLA. Either way, I think USC could lose and still be in the Rose Bowl. The networks are infatuated with them.

Too bad Iowa St. couldn't get the job done vs. Kansas. Now Gary Barnett and his thugs get another game. I hate him.
