Because, in all likelyhood he wont be as bad as he was last year again this year. And if you throw him in the 8 spot with the lineup we've got already, then it wont hurt us much at all, and it'd be pretty darn cheap too.

 

Look at this lineup

 

Murton

Walker

Lee

Giles

Aram

Nomar

Barrett

Patterson

 

You can arrange 1-7 anyway you want, but the fact is in a lineup including Giles, Lee, Aram, and Nomar, the 8th spot, all things considered, is fairly trivial.

 

All that being said, I still voted for wilkerson.

Dunn has never played center. Abreu has (granted, less than 20 games).

We already discussed LF, and it was decided we did not want to attempt to get dunn, so I dont think that Idea woudl fly. But in the interest of fairness, I suppose you could vote "other"
