11/6 Bears vs. Saints

The offensive line sure has been bad today.

 

I think the footing has played a major factor in this. Orton's accuracy issues are supposedly due to some mechanical issues with his footwork. Look at that field-it looks like it was chewed up and spit out. I'm not shocked there are offensive issues today.

 

The defense needs to hold us in this.

 

NO is playing on the same field.

At least from what I've seen on TV, the Saints seem to be having more problems with their footing than the Bears.

Orton is a different player in the last 2 minutes of the first half (over 100 passer rating).

Looked like Orton might've been able to run up the sideline for the first down on 2nd and 3, but the FG ties it up.

As far as Grossman/Orton, if the Bears maintain a 2/3 game lead, I think they'll stick with Orton. Personally, I'd go with Grossman and hope he provides a spark to the passing game.

Pretty bad first half, but at least it's still tied. We really should be pummeling these guys. They need to make some adjustments at halftime and come out ready in the second half. Orton's accuracy needs to imrpove.

What a terrible sequence. Moose should have come back to the ball on 1st down, Benson gains 1 on 2nd, and a terrible play called on 3rd, coupled with bad blocking and a missed FG. Way to waste a TO.

Terrible, terrible decision by Wade to field that punt. Thankfully it wasn't costly.

 

Not sure if they mentioned it on TV before, but Jones is done for the day. His ribs are acting up.
