Is it just me, or do only teams I root for fail to get a hit when they battle and foul off a few two strike pitches? Because every time the Sox do it they seem to hit a homer.

I'm starting to want the Astros to lose, they are so freaking not clutch at all. For Christ sakes. I think they might be worse than the cubs offensively. I really do.

Naw. It's just been a few weeks since you saw the Cubs' choke jobs. Trust me, we make the Stros' failures seem like a nickel-size ink blotch on a sheet of paper the size of a baseball field.

honestly one of the best games I've ever watched, for edge of your seatness and based on it being a World Series game. Not well executed but very nerve racking, which I like.

Agreed. Do you remember how the Cubs ended their season at Wrigley this year? bases loaded, no out? Against the Pirates?

i don't know that I'll ever get it out of my memory. Especially considering that they did the same thing about half a dozen other times this year.

Imagine if the Cubs were playing. I don't think I could have taken it.

this whole series with the blown calls and such, I would have no hair.

"this game is like swimming through syrup."

I hate you, Tim McCarver

I don't even notice it enough to care anymore. I heard him say that and thought it was stupid, but it just isn't stupid enough to draw my ire. You just have to shrug and say, "McCarver."

What a quiet crowd

I mean, I realize it's after midnight on a weeknight

Which reminds Joe and Tim: How bout another close up of that little kid sleeping in his seat? Priceless!

ugh.

how could you get excited after watching them blow countless chances to end the game?

Now there's something I actually enjoyed...a sarcastic look at all the crap that has happened in this game relating to the broadcast. I guess if you keep Joe and Tim together long enough, they'll come up with SOMETHING amusing eventually.
