Somebody tell me what the phenomenon is of average players signing with the Sox and having great years. Dye, Everett, Pierzynski, El Duque and probably more I am not thinking of.

Dye just stayed healthy, El Duque was very average, Everett was aswell, and Pierzynski batted well below his career average.

Talk about bouncing back, what a great 1 1/3 innings by Lidge. Hope he is done though, don't want to exhaust him.

El duque had a 5.12 ERA for the season, averaging 5 1/3 innings per start. Estesesque
