Oh my...

It was obvious Leinart was going to try to sneak it, but wow. Really looked like they blew it there.

god

USC is like the freaking Yankees.

But with the success in the 21st century.

Surprised Wiess didn't get a flag for not getting off the field before that play.

Wow did Penn State get screwed by the refs. bad spots on about 4 different occasions, not reviewing the Michigan fumble in the 4th quarter, allowing Carr to whine 2 more seconds onto the clock. i'm very pissed off.

Welcome to playing Michigan in the Big House... it's 13 on 11, with the 12th man being the crowd and the 13th man being the referees. Joe should have known that getting replay wouldn't ensure fair officiating in the Big Ten.

Somehow the replay managed to make it even more unfair, since only PSU's close plays got reviewed.

it almost makes me want to hate Michigan more than Ohio State.

I know at least two of the spots you're talking about - the one where they called Bradley for a sideline infraction, the guy was down a yard ahead of the first down. And on the play before Robinson got picked off, his pass should've been a first down by at least half a yard with forward momentum, but they spotted him a good yard and a half too far back.

I'm pretty furious right now. Next year if our game is close with UM, the refs better bend over for us like they do for them in Ann Arbor.

Notice the Michigan fan keeping his mouth shut.

You forgot the one for Michigan in the second quarter where the receiver caught the ball while falling and then rolled three yards and was somehow marked at the end of his roll, getting a first down by about half a yard.

I need to go work out or something, I am so mad. I want to win, or failing that, lose fair or square. Losing the way Penn State did leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. God.

Thankfully the Eagles are off tomorrow, I really can't take another kick in the nads right now.

ha ha Notre Dame, next time don't force the fumble.

yeah Michigan...

ugh.. Purdue.. now we need to win 4 out of 5 to get to a bowl game. maybe they want the holidays off this year for a change.

I wasn't livid with the refs. Some bad calls, yeah, but that was PSU's game to win, they blew two field goals, allowed that big kickoff return for the final drive, etc. I think had the game been played here, they would have won.

Exciting till the end. Time to go paste the Illini next week.

Normally I'd agree with your points... but, it is just as easy to say that it was Michigan's game to win. They were up 10 late in the third and gave up some big plays, up three with fourth down coming up and gave up the first; committed an obvious pass interference call to keep the drive alive and allow Penn State to score a TD.

Sorry, but I just can't write off all the bad spots, plus the three obvious calls - the Hart fumble that wasn't called and that led to (I believe) the Michigan TD... if not that, then the go-ahead field goal. The out-of-bounds reception that wasn't reviewed, even though a close call less than a minute before was reviewed, to Michigan's advantage. Michigan picked up a third of the yardage that they needed on a play that should not have stood. And then, Lloyd Carr getting 2 more seconds on the clock that should not have been there.

I hope you're right about Illinois, but I can see PSU going into a tailspin after losing a game like that. I'm guessing one of two things will happen - they'll rally around the tough loss and win out, or they'll collapse and go 1-4 the rest of the way. I'm hoping it's the former, but I doubt it.

Oh and there's a lot of speculation that Derrick Williams is done for a while after his late-game injury... if so, we'll be taking a big step back toward last year's joke of an offense.

UCLA game is getting very interesting... Pac 10 defense is a joke.

And speaking of jokes, how did Louisville blow a 17 point 4th quarter lead to a West Virginia team with a lousy offense? The entire Big East is garbage - can't wait to put huge confidence points in my college football bowl picks on whoever gets to play the Big East teams that qualify for bowls.

Just got back from the ND game. What a game. I have never heard the stadium that loud. The best game I have ever attended. It was real cool watching Gameday also. Got some good pictures. While ND did lose, it does not really bother me as much as I thought it would. They proved that they are legit, and they stayed with the best team in the nation till the very end. I was very confused by the end, but after watching replays I think it was a good job by the refs. The missed field goal was huge, and I did say when it happened that it would cost them. However I must say that ND IS BACK!!

Holy crap, Kansas has the fattest coach I have ever seen.

Yes he is quite large. Sorry bout PSU Truffle. From what I hear it was a hell of a game; not to mention controversial from what I've read on hear. There schedule is pretty easy from here out though, right? Pretty good chance at winning the Big 10?
