You've lost me.

You were saying that the players from my first years in peoria weren't good cause it was the Cardinals org. and i was pointing out that there ar emore players from 2002-2004 Peoria in St. Louis right now (winning a division) than there are from 2002-2004 Lansing in Chicago right now...

This makes me a sad panda... a lot of the talent on the Lansing club was supposedly going to make the Cubs a consistent contender in the NL Central for many years. Oh well, we are the Cubs after all, you don't go almost 100 years without winning because good fortune is smiling upon you.

That 99 team had the most talent I've personally seen in the minors. Patterson, Choi, Kelton, Zambrano, etc were awesome. It's sad to see how few of those guys are making an impact now.

Which players from 2002-2004 Peoria have seen MLB action for the Cards this year? Ronny Cedeno, Adam Greenberg, Rich Hill, Sergio Mitre and Ryan Theriot meet that criteria for the Cubs this year.

Homer Bailey was the best prospect I seen in '05 in the MWL.

'01-Pujols

'02-Mauer

'03-Fielder

'04-Dopirak

'05-Bailey

(Forgot to mention Zumaya in '03 along with Prince.)

Which players from 2002-2004 Peoria are on the Cards 25-man roster?

Tyler Johnson 2 IP

Brad Thompson 53 IP

55 Total IP

Yadier Molina 365 AB

Chris Duncan 8 AB

373 Total AB

Thompson was in Peoria in '03, Molina in '02, Johnson and Duncan '01 and '02. John Gall of 32 MLB ABs was in Peoria in '01.

Yadier Molina, Brad Thompson, Chris Duncan, Tyler Johnson, Carmen Cali...and if you add John Gall from 2001 who I also saw play here...and then Danny Haren is of course in Oakland from the 2002 team

We never faced Bailey this season. I would say I agree with your 2002 and 2003 assessments though Weeks is high up there in 2003. Pujols was 2000 though. And I would put Carlos Gonzales as my 2005 non-Chiefs player and Felix Hernandez as my 2004 non-Chiefs pitcher, and Dopirak as my 2004 player though if i included Barton I would pick him.

So that's five to five with Duncan, Johnson and Cali having very little impact for the Cards, and Greenberg and Theriot producing practically nothing for the Cubs.

Choi turned into Lee. Hill turned into Aramis. Zambrano and Prior have been All-Stars before the age of 25. Pie won't be 21 until February. Buck up, Panda.

You're about Pujols in '00, I I forgot to include Adrian Gonzalez in '01 for KC.

Hard to say with Weeks in '03 he was only with Beloit for about 1 month I recall.

touche, though Hill and Mitre haven't produced much at all in Chi-town either, though I LOVE Hill's future. and of the trio that haven't produced in STL, only Johnson has a future there.
