I enjoyed this thread and this matchup. Its good to have the two best teams going head to head in a tight matchup. Congratulations Adam! also, congratulations Tim on an amazing, dominating season. I think we all have some work to do to catch up next year.

Thanks for the kind words. After Adam made the trade for Teix, I thought he had the best team to finish the season. With my pitching collapse at the end, it sealed the deal. He definitely had the best team at the end of the year.

 

But watch out next year. Team NSBB is going to be stronger than ever!

thanks guys...my offense sucked this week, but my pitching made up for it. it also didn't hurt that tim's pitching fell apart.

 

i'm glad tim and i got to match up for the final...however, i do wish we had both been at full strength. i'm not sure i had the best team at the end, though...i've got a lot of work to do for this off-season!

Interestingly, I've been playing both fantasy baseball and football for about the past three years, and I have yet to be in a league where the regular season champion also wins the playoffs. In one baseball league in 2004 it was my team that won the regular season but lost in the playoffs.
