Great, now Kasper and Brenley are speculating Ramirez hurt his OTHER quad?

Better ask Kelton to reconsider that not wanting to play third thing

based on what?

Hopefully it's just a nasty fall, and after a day off he'll be okay to go Friday.

Any update on Aramis's injury, for those of us chained to a cubicle?

Good news: Cubs finally find a 3B at least as good as Santo was.

Bad news: His legs are about as good as Santo's are now.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry... this season has just gone from bad to worse, with brief moments of greatness.

Isn't your football about to start? Enjoy that feeling. Where you know you won't have an incompetent boob ruining things for your team. It's a good feeling.

You're right, KF is a great coach and I can't wait for a week from Saturday, but it sure would be nice if the Cubs could be at least be a semi-annual contender, instead of once every 3-4 years (or worse).

Not that I ever wish injury on anyone, but its never the .229 hitting outfielder that gets hurt is it?

They get hurt, too, but no one notices.

Sosa got hurt for Baltimore this year and he fits that bill...or were you talking about current Cubs? :D

It was in '03. Of course, he was hitting .298 then.

I guess based on the fact that before falling he grabbed his left quad and slowed up, and that his previously injured quad was his right one? I wasn't paying too close attention. He definitely came up lame and held his leg before he tripped over the bag.
