Even after a losing streak on the road the Jaxx are only 2 games back of the Carolina Mudcats. That may not seem like a big deal to some since the Jaxx have locked up a playoff spot but if the Jaxx can win the 2nd half title they receive an extra home game in the opening round of the playoffs in Jackson. Go Jaxx!

Dang. We must have some good pitching prospects. Only one pitcher going today with an ERA over 4.

and that pitcher has been pitching MUCH better lately (and I probably just jinxed him)

Isn't Albuquerque a home-run haven ballpark?

The Chiefs will be looking to avoid a 4-game sweep by South Bend. With 19 games left, they're 3 games out of the wild-card spot.

They need to get it! I'd love having three teams in the playoffs to follow (Diamond Jaxx, Chicago Cubs)

Dang.

No daygames in the system anywhere, and a day off for the Cubs.

Suffering from withdrawal symptoms. :shaking2:

Its about time for Brownlie to crush most of my remaining hopes again.

JC, I have a friendly objection to your signature. I've always remained a fan of Brownlie's. I even started a thread about him and pointed out all the pitchers in the majors that have been successful throwing as hard as Brownlie currently does. So add me on board mister!

Couldn't make it to Jackson tonight. Apparently I've caught a bug going around.

Nolasco is having a rough 1st, the bullpen is up for the Jaxx

Nolasco gets out of a major jam in the first (29 pitches). With the bases loaded and 2 outs he gets a foul, called strike and called strike to get out of the inning only giving up 1 run.

Ergh, hope you feel better, DJaxx.

Fuld and EPat lead off the Peoria game with back-to-back singles, but then get stranded.

Thanks, ma'am, I appreciate it. Whatever it is came fast. I got up with a little bit of a sore throat but I'm feeling pretty rought right now.

DJaxx has a name - Ron called out a get well soon to his upcoming broadcast partner.

That was great!
