And the runner is thrown out at home on a ground ball to 3B!

 

Harvey is DH-ing again today.

 

Weber is getting hit, but a couple of those runs could easily have been unearned. The Chiefs D has had some burps.

 

The scorekeeping in South Bend has been horribly, excrutiatingly, terribly homeristic the whole homestand. It could be the biggest joke of an error on a Chiefs player, but it's a hit every time for the Silver Hawks ... and vice versa. No wonder they're all hitting up a storm average-wise.

 

I'm out for awhile, so this is prob the last game update from me.

The Iowa game looks like it's a strange one, I'm just looking at the box score. It's tied 1-1, Iowa has 3 hits, Albuquerque has 2. Both runs were scored after the first batter of the game for each team hit triples.

Brandon had been struggling as of late and Bobby wanted to take some pressure off of Sing and Craig, taking them out of the middle of the lineup and dropping them to the lower end.

It looks like Brownlie gave up an unearned run be looking up at a 2-1 deficit. My boy is sporting a pretty nice line through 5 innings: 4 hits, BB, 4 Ks, 1 earned run. ERA is down to 4.12.
