I have never seen him pitch, but Pawelek reminds me of Justin Jones. I think he will have that type of assent up the prospect rankings and turn heads while doing it. Very polished highschool lefty.

Don't jinx him with the injury bug. [-X

Pretty darn good is what I was thinking. :)

I'm impressed with the IP/SO's. not to mention the IP/BB might be a bit high, but when compared to his SO total, totally accpetable...

Still a bit early to be making any sorts of trends out of it. This is especially true considering he may be working on a pitch or on his mechanics and doing something different on the mound from what he normally does.

Because he hasn't gotten any run support and he doesn't pitch enough innings to qualify for wins.

has he even thrown five innings in a start? id say hes going to struggle to get too many 2's if he hasnt.

I don't believe so. He did go 4 in his last start, though, so he might get there by the end of the season.

Of course, when you have 16 pitchers on your roster, you also don't need your starters to go that long.

ill bet dusty could have 17 pitchers on the roster and still overwork prior and z.

ronny would probably get a lot of pt if he made the roster though.

He is a gold glover with plenty of experience. Of course he would get PT.
