Harvey is extremely gifted, probably 2nd to Pie in that regard in the Cubs system. But, sometimes I wonder if he's too pretty out there for my taste. For a reference point, I said the same thing about Drew when he was a younger player. He makes it look too easy out there, if there's such a thing.

 

I agree with that article, he's going to have to learn how to hit an off-speed and breaking pitches.

BA's doing it's "Best Tools by Class" feature all this week. Today they did Low Class A. In the MWL Ryan Harvey received "Best Power Prospect" and Sean Gallagher received "Best Breaking Ball" honors. :D

Ryan Havey had a .311 average in July. Third on the Chiefs to Fuld and Patterson.

OH My, Leicester had a not horrible outing his last start and so far tonight he is 6IP, 3H, 1BB, OR, 3K.... Is the ice man back???? (EDIT.. I think I jinxed him probably as I typed that he gave up a solo shot, but still 7IP 1R is alot better than he's been doing)
