I getting depressed already about the inevitability of Henrdy signing the very tools-y Jacque Jones.

I'm waiting for many here to start overvaluing Jay Payton since he's been acquired by Kevin Towers, Theo Epstein, and Billy Beane the past two years.

on a more serious note, Jacques Jones just set his career mark for BBs in a season with about 60 games left, and in a year that his teams offense is down. you would think he'd be losing patience in that situation, but he seems to be gaining.

while he's not on the top of my wish list, if he could duplicate what he has done this year for a couple seasons at Wrigley, I wouldn't mind.

If Patterson is dealt, I wouldn't mind giving him a look in center, depending on the contract.

What about Johnny Damon to the cubs be the leadoff hitter they need. what do you guys think

no thanks. he's going to command far more than he's worth.

6 years, $72m is the contract I've heard thrown around.
