I have a free ticket saturday, but my 3 friends dont. is it hard to get tickets from scalpers and whatnot, and what is the demand like. I'm usually good at negotiating and waiting until the prices go down.

oh, did I mention that I'll be wearing Cubs gear and my 3 friends will be wearing Red Sox gear.

I'm taking a group of 12 down from here in Chicago.

For most of em it's the first trip to Busch. I'll be at Friday and Sat's games. I'll be the guy in the StL hat if you're looking for me.

I also will probably have red on.

Are they real Red Sox fans, or are they like half of "Red Sox Nation" and have been fans since about 9 months ago?

I'm there Sunday...maybe Friday. Hoping like heck (family friendly edit) that The Good Z shows up Friday and that we can put a few runs up on Carpenter...I think Prior Matches well against Suppan...always a fun weekend.

I'll be in downtown St. Louis on Friday and Saturday. This series you may want to stay away from beer at the stadium. Saturday and Sunday could reach 100 degrees with high humidity. Plus, as many of you know, there are a couple of spots you can go to after the game and drink beer where it's air- conditioned. I give this warning because a few years ago I was at Busch on a hot and humid day, but my seats were underneath an overhang and out of the sun so I thought I was pretty safe drinking beer without getting sick. Without going into detail, let's just say I was wrong....very, very wrong.

Albert Pujols?

I haven't been able to make the trip down to St. Louis for a few years now. It kills me everytime too because something always comes up. I have the most important job interview of my life early monday morning (then again, I'm only 23, so every job interview is the most important of my life), so I decided it'd be wise not to head down for the series.

I'll keep an eye out for everyone here though. You'll have to make signs that have your NSBB name on them though, cause I don't know what any of you look like.

Best of luck on the interview!!!

Saturday and Sunday for me. Both times way back in the left field bleachers and in the shade.

Yes: take it easy if it's going to hot and humid. Learned my lesson before in St. Louis.

Well they live in Boston, the center of Red Sox nation where people have been die hard fans for years.

For those looking to have a drink before or after the game, Paddy O's and Hrabosky's are two decent places to go that are a couple of blocks south of the stadium.

For the love of God, do not go to Hrabosky's.

Broadway Oyster Bar is my choice.

Heading down to STL. Waiting on my buddy to pick me up. We're staying at the new Hilton on Broadway.

Have tickets for Sat. and Sun. games. Heading tonight (Friday) to the new Irish bar on Washington Ave. across from the dance bar that serves sushi. (Forgot the name of both.)

Anyway, the Irish place has tons of TVs including 4 or 5 very big widescreen plasma HDTVs. After that heading a couple doors down to Lucas Park Grill: nice crowd with a target-rich environment.

They're still calling for 100 degree + heat. I recommend this plan at the game: alternate beer and water. Drinking a ton of beer and hurling afterward doesn't make you a man.

I'll be at Saturday's game. My friend got a bunch of free tickets from work, so I got offered one.

I don't know if I'd pay 50 bucks to sit in the sweltering heat... but I'll dish out $20 for water and a free ticket.

You're not kidding.

My entire group didn't sit in our seats after the 3rd inning. We just stood in the tunnel where it was nice and shady with a cool breeze. And it's not like it impacted our view... cause we had horrible seats anyways.

I stayed in the seats, but the rest of the family didn't. All but my wife left in the fifth. Addison only lasted 1.5 innings in the seats.

Vance, are you going to be there tonight? I would absolutely love to meet Addison after seeing her pictures here.
