BOTTOM OF THE THIRD INNING

 

Hairston grounded out to short, 6-3

Walker singled to center field

Lee singled to left center field, Walker to third

Burnitz singled to right field, Walker scored, Lee to second

Ramirez singled to center field, Lee scored, Burnitz to third

Hollandsworth walked

Perez grounded into a FC, 5-2, Burnitz out at home, Ramirez to third, Hollandsworth to second

Barrett singled to right field, Ramirez scored, Hollandsworth to third, Perez to second

Zambrano doubled to center field, Hollandsworth and Perez scored, Barrett to third

Meadows in to pitch for Pittsburgh

Hairston popped out (foul) to the catcher

CUBS are 20-5 when they score 6 runs or more...... 25-40 when they don't.

 

Go CUBS !!

 

fred, have you posted stats on game after the cubs score 10 runs? it seems like the bats go silent after big games like yesterday.

 

if you've done it already, i missed it.

Hmmmm...... seems the CUBS haven't put up 5 runs in a single inning since all the way back on Fri 15 July vs. Pittsburgh.

 

Edit: Last time before that was Wed 15 June vs. Florida.

Mackowiak singled to left field, Bay to second

Ward grounded to first, safe at first on a fielding error, E3, Bay tho third, Mackowiak to second

Castillo grounded into a FC, 5-4, Ward out at second, Bay scored, Mackowiak to third

Cota popped out (foul) to first base

I'm on lunch. How'd we score all the runs today?

 

The Cubs players hit the ball, they ran the bases, and ATLEAST 6 Cubs cross this thing call homeplate. SO.....that is how the Cubs score the 6 runs.
