Rondell White or Craig Monroe anyone? Sorta just thinkin out loud, so don't go after me for a bad idea. Monroe had a nice season last year and is having a somewhat descent year this year. White is also putting up nice numbers and assuming he stays healthy, (I think we know about his injury filled past) I wouldn't mind him on the team. Thoughts?

Monroe would be decent, but I don't see why Detroit would trade him. White is probably avaliable because Detroit has plenty of outfielders (especially now with Ordonez back) and is in the final year of his contract. But we have enough non-patient hitters as it is already, and as previously said, White's not really an upgrade over Hollandsworth.

I always felt trading Farnsworth was a mistake. It was a gut instinct that he was going to have one of his good years. But if he was at odds with the organization maybe it was for best. I still felt we should have kept him around just a bit longer.

I say we trade for this guy named Kyle Farnsworth. He is sure having one heck of a year up there.

I didn't like the trade, but I for one won't complain about Scott Moore.

Scott's been a very pleasant addition to the minors, and his future is pretty bright. Too bad we couldn't have both of them.

Farns had to go, and Hendry got a near-ready ML player in Novoa with very good stuff and a good prospect in Moore. He certainly did not get fleeced, but he certainly gave up an at times dominant at times disappointing reliver.

If Nova could just fill out the space between his huge butt and his huge neck he'd have a 110 mph fastball.

Ok, how bout a cheap bullpen idea, Jamie Walker. He has done very well for the Tigers the past few years and here are his ERA/ Whip/ BBA from this year in 29.1 IP: 1.84/ 1.06/ .218 . Not too shabby. If I'm not mistaken, he's only making $ 700,000 this year. Anyone like this idea, or is another one of my trade ideas gonna get shot down again?
