Bedards supposed to skate on top line tonight with Kane and Kantserov and will be those guys plus Byram and Bertuzzi on PP1. Nazar still suspended so Teuvo (a preseason casualty rumor at one point) will be on second line. Not ideal. 
Lardis may be getting sent down.

And it is official. Bedard is active and Lardis is going to Rockford. 
 

Lardis being here on the third line is kind of pointless so maybe he can get top line minutes against lesser competition.

Not quite, imo. They were outshot quite a bit and leaky/unstable on D. Arty looked good and Byram flashed his offense but took two bad penalties and was shaky in his own end. Vlasic had too many unsure moments for the guy that is billed as your best defensive defenseman including a shaky turnover that almost lost the lead. That looked like a team that could be in the race in March if they get that kind of effort every game. But they dug such a hole that they are going to need more to get there.

Nazar is back in the lineup so forward lines should be set, but Byram is missing game due to injury so defensive pairings likely will be a mess.

Part of the Byram Kane acquisition plan was to improve in OT and they won in OT. But it was Levshunov and Bedard doing the work

CHSN is hot garbage. I went out to dinner with friends and started the game from the beginning when I got home, which was about 45 min to an hour behind. There is no fast forward feature, and when the official game time ended, so did my feed.

I don't know what the answer is but what I do know is Blashill is not it. I'm ready for the Hawks to move off Blashill.

I don’t really think it matters. The turnover rate of nhl coache is silly. There’s no superstar waiting to take the job. This is a bad team. They are going to lose a lot. But they have some fun things and will have another lotto pick this summer, maybe a top 5 guy. Better coaching isn’t making this a playoff team this year. Give him a full season of all this young talent plus Kane and Byram. If it’s still a mess in February you can start drawing up papers.  But right now it won’t make a difference
