Salaya's velocity down to 93-94 in the third and he gave up 3 runs (some bad luck as Derniche Valdez misplayed one groundball and another run scored on a weak dribbler of a single).

Probably his final line: 3 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, 10 whiffs

God damn Cepeda is on absolute fire

Triantos also continues to hit post big league callup.  He's not hitting the piss out of the ball but lots of line drives and lots of walks

Get off the mat, Kane 🫠

He's still sporting a 127 wRC+ even with a .204 babip. Unless there's news out there of him having consistently ****** contact quality, I find this as good news more than anything else.

Wondering if he ends up top-20 on any lists pre season

If anyone believe he's legitimately a corner outfielder I'd say yes, but you have to absolutely torch the minors to be top 20 as a 1B only.

Yeah as one of the more vocal "let's pump the brakes on Kepley" voices he's fine.  He's probably hitting the ball in the air too much, minor league popup numbers tend to be inflated but they have him at an astronomical 27%.  But largely Kane is the same guy he was at SB.

Also not that concerned with guys whose numbers drop off in late August and September in their first full pro season. Gives them incentive to get in better shape during the offseason.
