Maybe in trade rumors? A la PCA when the Cubs traded for him?

Not impossible, but feel like it's highly unlikely. The Cubs never say anything about any MiLB injury, really. The only time they don't is when you have a guy down for TJS or something. Beyond that they're incredibly mum.

I also don't think he'll be in trade talks. He hasn't played much in a full calendar year and a half. He has more value to the Cubs as an org than another team is going to view him.

He hasn't even taken an AB as a professional yet, and it's been nearly a year since the Cubs popped him.

Don't get me wrong, the guy has value and he could skyrocket to the top of the Cubs' prospect list by returning to full health and kicking butt in SB before the end of the season, but nebulous back injuries are usually enough for teams to back off in trade talks.

Yeah we simply don't get play by play on MiLB injury recovery, and we're sometimes lucky to get anything at all.  I don't think we heard what Rojas or Mathis' injuries were for instance.  Half the pitchers who get TJ we find out not from official sources but from instagram when they post the pics of themselves thumbs upping the camera post op.

Conrad's just going to randomly show up in an ACL game at some point, and we sort of have to just twiddle our thumbs until then.

No one knows. Either no one cares enough to ask the org or they aren't telling

I think we'll probably get an update soon on him and Wiggins because Sahadev Sharma and Meghan Montemurro are the only beats who do major minor league dives and injury updates (and it feels like they do it once every month or two and it's been a while).

I sure hope so, it’s getting to the point where I’m more interested in how the prospects are doing than the Cubs.
