Matt Shaw is rehabbing with Iowa.  If he was a full time guy Id assume he'd be back at Wrigley on Friday but given he could use some ABs I wonder if he spends a full week down there.

Cal, appreciate listing the money guys and the young guys.  Helps to be able process a box score.  Having signed a lot of dollar guys but without really big tickets, it's hard to remember who was more likely to be interesting.  So yeah, really nice for you to include the bonus and the young guys.

I'm kinda used to our dollar guys being K-kinds and struggling in DSL.  Fun to see the interesting guys get off to quick starts.

Except for the biggest bonus guy not even seeing game action yet. This regime has been fairly pathetic with their biggest bonus babies in LA.

Can’t control injuries. Can’t fault them too much there.

Hartshorn (likely) ends up 3/5 with a homer and 2 singles. The last single was with the bases loaded.

He might be one of the very few bright spots for the whole org this year. That is, until he is traded for a #4 starter with 2 years of control at the deadline.

There are a lot of bright spots in the minors, the team is really struggling to score runs right now. I don't expect that to be forever this year. Let us hope they don't dig too deep a hole before they come out of this.
