I know we all love dongs but Southisene is fun man

Brethowr was my pet project last year and Southisene is mine this year. There is nearly a foot difference in the two's heights. I love baseball, man.

Thanks for that McGwire clip.  That was was very impressive, lots of varying movement.  Wasn't just overpowering guys.

I wonder a bit too how long Coppola stays at Myrtle.  I'm not yelling "move 'em up!" after 7.2 innings, but he's got high octane stuff that can probably bully the kids in the Carolina League, and he got drafted out of the SEC which is probably a more difficult environment outright.

Like I wonder if his developmental boxes to check are more about building length and compiling innings more than performance.

FYI - I watched an inning + a batter or two in the 2nd this morning and Coppola only topped out at 94 and velo fell in the 2nd inning.

I don’t think his stuff is as high octane as advertised. Admittedly he’s huge so 92-94 probably feels harder.

Well that's disappointing.  Hopefully more of a buildup/rust sort of deal than it permanently being gone.
