Kind of wild seeing that xwoba

Was just talking to someone else about that. I think it's just a combo of "xData isn't super amazing in small samples" and "xData doesn't differentiate directional hitting". Pedro's pullair% is super high and xData is going to treat everything like it's neutral.

SSS, recency bias, and all that, but I wouldn't blink twice if someone rated Ramirez the #1 prospect in the system and a Top 50 prospect in baseball.  The top guys in the system entering the season are all hurt, and he's been an absolute monster so far.

His main knock entering the season was his lack of power, and I don't think this is a mirage.

I'd take Hartshorn over him but I can see the argument for being ahead of Rojas and especially Wiggins, Conrad and KA.

Will Pedro Ramirez eventually knock Kingery off the roster or is this a let Pedro played the full year at AAA and wait till 2027?

Doubtful. Thats why people have floated Murray to come up. They dont want to waste a good prospect on the 26th spot.

I am cool with him cooking at AAA all year.

Yeah, I think the only way he comes up if there's an injury to one of the starting infielders besides Busch.

I was just wondering what the thinking is. I'm good with him playing out the season at AAA.

I think he stays at AAA for the majority of the year with a couple callups mid and late year when a couple small injuries inevitably occur (hopefully not). This FO seems to really love getting their top guys a ton of AAA AB's which is a strategy I really like. Don't have any data backing that up but they traded for Busch who had close to 1000 AB's at AAA, Cassie had close to 1000 ABs as well and Alcantara is on track for that too as hes close 700 ABs there. Shaw is an outlier here as he was only around 250 ABs Wouldn't be surprised if they want Pedro on the same track.
