2026 Midseason Top Prospect List Updates

The jury is certainly still out on many of the prospects we have traded but Jed has seemingly made the right call on who to move lately: Cam Smith, Caissie, Mo have all had huge struggles. I think Rojas has been raking for the Mets but I really do think he’s done a good job on that front

I'm not familiar with how the Eastern League compares with the Southern League as far as a hitting environment goes, but Rojas is OPS'ing .917 so far with the Mets.

I feel like the Astros ruined Cam. Guy had 20 PA in AA and they instantly made him their full-time RF'er.

I think we just said the same thing in different ways. I agree that everyone can be traded given the right trade. I was just trying to say that those 3 players have a good path to staying with the cubs because of their talent and position. They could get injured or forget how to hit, and quickly become trade bait. You never know. The other 5 are all basically unproven. Not untouchable at all (i misspoke by saying "close to untouchable"). The only truly untouchable player is PCA. The Dodgers could offer Shohei and Freddie Freeman for PCA..... nope.
