What’s his hard hit rate? I guess I’m going off last year when I had more time to watch games. Cubs don’t have any pen arms with nasty off speed stuff so throwing 100 mph with location is the next best thing.

Statcast says 35%, fangraphs says 21%. The best thing hes done is limit hard contact. I feel like hes gotten quite a bit lucky.

Yeah I’ve gone to a couple of games in Cincinnati and not sure if it’s every pitch but after a lot of pitches there’s music in between. Very distracting and annoying IMO. Yes Wrigley often plays an organ between pitches but that’s traditional and less intrusive than “EVERYBODY CLAP YOUR HANDS” during a big AB

Milwaukee too

Who is our closer going forward?

Is Horton part of the rotation now?

Hodge and yes🤞
Honestly, even when Imanaga comes back I wouldn’t mind some sort of a 6 man rotation. They have Boyd, Horton, and Brown they probably shouldn’t pitch more than 120 innings. Rea probably is a guy they should count on every 5th day. Imanaga is someone who does better with an extra day of rest. Taillon is the only pitcher who has pitched high innings on a regular basis. Maybe it doesn’t have to be a strict 6 man rotation, but maybe Counsell mixes guys in and gives guys occasional rests during the year.

Good point, never thought about the organ like that.  Organ is more pleasant on the ears than big booming music/sounds. An organ won't give you a headache after a while.
