I don’t think he is thick enough to be Reuschel. I’m also pretty sure Rick never pitched in those jerseys.

He was on the 84 team, and I do believe that team did play in those jersey's (I believe the Cubs had those jersey's from 1982-89).

You are right. Would not have been able to tell you that he was on the 84 Cubs (obviously). Still think it’s too slender for him though.

Based on the Nike Air cleats, I'm thinking it's no earlier that the mid-late 80's. And was was mentioned earlier, that's a very downhill delivery.

I'm gonna guess Bielecki or Sanderson, though the former seems more like it.

No name on the back of the road blue jerseys.  1984 and beyond they did.

Tough one, unless his last name was taken out of the image.

Going to guess :

Bielecki

Mike Morgan

Didn’t Morgan come to the Cubs essentially to replace Bielecki? So that might be too late for this picture, but if I recall, he did wear number 36…

Yeah, I think outside of the recent teams, the 1987-1991 squads are the ones I know the best. Those were my formative years as a Cubs fan.

Bielecki was pretty decent in 1989, but totally unremarkable outside of that year.
