It's the Wrigley 2025 opener as Imanaga takes the mound. What could possibly go wrong against the *checks notes* undefeated Padres?

Randy Vasquez is bad.  Really really bad.  That said I'm worried that this team is due for a game where they get BABIP'd, and the weather today certainly wouldn't combat that.

I like the Cubs' chances in a low scoring ball game even with the bullpen unsettled.

Yeah I understand the concerns about the offense slowing down but it was somewhat unsustainable anyways, as much as I would love to continue the stateside team .866 OPS. The weather should help Shota as much, if not more, than it hurts us.

I'm assuming the wind is blowing in?  If so I'd rather have Shota's 20th percentile GB rate for a game like this.
