It's still too early...I don't think I can in good conscience jump on until September at the earliest. He's doing great now, no doubt about it.

he sucks. strikes out too much, not enough sacrifice bunts, doesn't have a low-enough BABIP.

So you're voting for someone who never plays and someone who's on the DL for the season with a torn hamstring. Good votes. :D

Adam Dunn is HOTHOTHOT.

Last 7 days he's .211/.516/737. How is that line even possible? 10 walks in 7 days, that's how!

He's currently projected at .263/.440/.667 48 homers 101 RBI 140 BB 162 K

0 sac flies :(

I'm loving Dunn walking all the time. In the only fantasy league I'm playing for money in, he's carrying my team's sorry pitch viewing skills.

Now I wish he, Tex, Beltre, Mench, and Vernon Wells could drive some damn people in.

that 1000+ ops is negated by his lack of hitting .300 he sucks guyz come on whats wrong with this am i taking crazy pills or something

23 of his 30 hits have been for extra bases this year (11 HRs, 1 3B, 11 2Bs). In translation, that means a little over 75% of his hits have gone for extra bases this year. Let's stretch this out for a full season and improve his average.

Assume he takes 552 ABs and posts a .333 AVG. This would translate to 184 hits. Of those 184 hits, 138 of them would be for extra bases. Considering he likes to hit with equality and triples rarely, he could post something like 67 2Bs, 4 3Bs, and 67 HRs...or something thereabouts.

That's...that's just wrong.

Yesterday, Adam Dunn had as many walks as the entire Cub team.

The Cubs have a total of only 122 walks this year. Adam Dunn has 37 walks all by himself, meaning if he played for the Cubs he'd have over 30% of the walks for the team. Note to Hendry: please get Dunn.

I hope we don't get Dunn. He's just another hacker and that is something we don't need. His walks don't come from having a good eye, it comes from pitchers pitching around him. One thing you won't hear announcers say is, "Dunn with a good eye takes ball four." He'll strike out a ton and hit a bunch of solo shots. We're already doing that without him.

I think Dunn is an impossible dream. Cincy doesn't generally get bent over in trades and they almost certainly understand Dunn's value. It would take a monster package to get him, I'd wager. Start with Dope/Felix and throw in a ton of pitching.

I agree and I'll say it again: If the Reds trade Dunn, they'll be lucky to draw 1.2 million this year. He is really their only draw. I think he is the franchise.

They're not exactly drawing anyway. They will retire Sparky Anderson's number 10 on Saturday, and it is far from a sellout as of the 5th inning tonight.
