It’s really too bad the Cubs decided to take May and June off and that this happened to be a year where the bar is a little higher for making the playoffs because this is becoming a fun team to watch…just one with virtually no chance of making the playoffs.

After all is said and done, they are likely going to end up right where they were projected in terms of wins.  But the way they got there left quite a few wins on the table.
