Why are they so quiet in the booth today

Because Marquee are morons for changing the booth every week. It shows just how good JD is that when he’s not there to keep things flowing, Boog/Whoever is just a terrible listening experience.

Kyle about to give it all back.

He my main fear in this rotation, especially if the offense has trouble putting up runs against whomever pitching against him.

Makes me wonder if he'll be the odd man out in rotation come September and Brown and or Wicks is ready to go.

If PCA hits it in the same spot will he have to settle for a triple because of Swanson being in the way despite a 180+ foot head start?

Nitpicking here, but that's a different thing (to me at least).

Same,  little league HR for me is more with errors/overthrows.

He hasn't been great per say but he has a respectable 4.37 ERA over his last 10 starts averaging 5 IP per start.  Batters have a .664 OPS against him over that timespan.

In comparison, Taillon has a 4.78 ERA over his last 10 starts, averaging 5.1 IP per start and hitters have a .724 OPS against him.

I get it, Taillon is signed for a few years and is younger so should be expected to perform at a higher level than Kyle  I just don't want it to be lost upon Cubs fans how Kyle was able to turn his season around and actually pitch effectively for an extended stretch.

Wonder how many SB would of been taken away from guys like Henderson, Brock, Raines, etc if they had replay back then.

Especially with the leg and or butt popping up off the base on the slide

Didn't realize Taillon has been that bad too..

Both these guys will need the bats to put up runs with every start in order to have a chance in their games.

With Hendricks, I hope they're still in playoff contention come September and more so the second week of, I just think it'll be his spot that'll get filled in by one of the younger prospects the final weeks of season to get them more experience for next season.

So much for that miniscule walk rate from Miller.

6 walks in 46.2 IP this year, so of course he walks the first 2 batters today and walks in a run.

I hate bullpen guys who can’t throw strikes

That's exactly why Counsell put Miller in there.  He just didn't have his best control today I guess.

Sometimes I wonder if they're wild in the bullpen when warming up, especially when they come out missing badly.

Bullpen coach should be like are you sure,  he's been all over the place warming up.lol
