I already said I don’t have a problem with it, didn’t I? My enjoyment of the things I love is not dependent on the political beliefs of others. Trump doesn’t have a hold over my life like that and I don’t know why any grown man would allow that.

Because "politics" are a real thing with real impact on all of our lives, and sports aren't divorced from that, no matter how much you want to pretend otherwise.

I love how you're acting like having any kind of political awareness is weak and lame, but just blindly rooting for a team because they're wearing the flag of the country you happen to live in is...strong and normal, I guess?

It was a rough day for my Canadian co-workers.  Days like this I bite my tongue because I value my work relationships and they really do bleed for hockey.

Team Canada did outplay us.  Those two open net gimmes will haunt them forever.  One knocked offline with a prayer flick of the stick and the other a point blank miss by a great player.

That said (and Krazy Kash aside), I nearly lost my mind when Hughes buried the winner!  🇺🇸
