"Why do you have to make THE OLYMPICS political?!?" is giving real "gentlemen, you can't fight in the War Room!" vibes.

Yeah, the woke mob is at it again, ruining another historically apolitical event.

Oh who cares, man? I don’t know why Kash Patel was there and to be blunt I could not give a single horsefeathers either.

A 24-year old kid lost teeth in an effort to win a gold medal for a country he loves and there are grown men rooting against him because their feelings are hurt over who the sitting president is. That’s pathetic.

kash protects child predators and you're defending it because of a sports game. who's pathetic?

I enjoyed that game. It was exciting. But I am so horsefeathers sick of the “keep politics out of sports” BS. It’s such bad faith BS. This horsefeathers administration (and its prominent supporters) injects itself into every corner of the sports and entertainment industry. They literally have to be front and center of horsefeathers everything. And then when people react negatively because they disagree with [pedophilia, ICE, trade wars, threats to annex sovereign countries, extrajudicial killings, genocide in Gaza, etc. etc. etc.], its always the people reacting that are making it about politics.

congrats on being able to bury your head in the sand though.

All of this. I would deeply love to keep politics out of sports. The same people who parrot that horsefeathers are the people who created a whole separate halftime show because a brown American was picked to do the real one and who will flat out not shut the horsefeathers up about anything they perceive as being against the wannabe Fuhrer.

I didn’t even know who he was until it was said here. And his actions have absolutely nothing to do with the men’s hockey team, a lot of whom probably also didn’t know who he was until they were told.

Yes, it’s pathetic. I can’t relate to going through life being that soft.

Hey man, Im sure you’ll do the right thing if your beliefs are ever put to the test.

I find it difficult to understand why someone’s enjoyment of a sport would depend on whether someone involved has a connection to Trump. What a miserable way to live.

I guarantee most of that locker room couldn’t tell you a thing about Kash Patel.

Don't care. Someone still let him in, and they loved it when they got Trump on the phone and he was making fun of the women's team and they were joking about closing the "northern border." You're crying about everyone being "soft," yet you can't seem to process even the hint of the idea that other people might think they are shitheads who nobody has to root for or be proud of, especially when the OTHER gold medal-winning US Olympic hockey team apparently has no problems doing the right thing.

Also: the official story right now is that he was "invited by the players." Literally nobody involved with the team, players or otherwise, seemed to have zero issue with him being there.

This is just straight up false. lol You are welcome to show me otherwise.

My views have remain unchanged since I joined here. I don’t like the right or the left.

Oh, horsefeathers, he didn't actually count your posts? GOT HIM.

And it's funny, yet again, someone claiming to "not like the right or left" only has problems with people on the left criticizing this, and no problems with far right extremist  actually getting down with his bros in the locker room. WEIRD. Must be a coincidence.

Like, just cop to not having a problem with him being there. It would be weirdly more dignified than doing the whole, "they're all just dumb babies who don't know how anything works and would probably try and eat hockey pucks if we didn't stop them" shtick.

Dude, they’re a bunch of 20 somethings. I guarantee they are “tuned in” to politics.

Dude, I didn’t even know who he was. I also remember the things I was concerned with in my early 20s and none of them involved politics or anything on the news. If the President had called me after a big win, I’d be pretty stoked, whether it was Trump, Biden, or Obama in office. You are very politically informed. Not everyone is. It’s wild how that gets lost on you.

"I didn't care about politics in my 20s so no one else in their 20s does"?

And you don't know who Kash Patel is so sounds like you're still not.

"Dudes, even *I* don't who he is" is not the win you think it is.

Again, the OTHER gold medal-winning US hockey team knows all of this is garbage. Pretending like these are all just dangerously stupid oafs oblivious to anything except hockey is embarrassing. You clearly don't have a problem with it! Just admit it and stop with the goofy nonsense.
