Wheeler's got to be one of the best FA signings ever right?  He wasn't injured, he wasn't tucked away overseas, he wasn't coming off a disaster season.  He was really good, the Phillies "overpaid" for him and then he went from really good to incredible.

His original contract is going to be in the neighborhood of $70-$80m surplus value. Such a good signing by them.

At the moment, they have the fifth spot in the 2025 lottery with a 7.83% chance of the #1 overall pick.

People need to stop giving them money or ownership won't see a need to change.

Bellinger has 5 HR in 13 ABs vs Wheeler. Maybe he can sneak one or two further than the warning track. Up that trade value a little.

I feel almost certain they will have some quality PAs.  That's the way it's going.   Whether that means 2 or 3 runs and a narrow loss or 0 runs and an ass kicking is the only mystery.
