There was a Rosenthal article yesterday that the Padres are interested in Crochet. He’s got 3.5 years left of control left, though, so I could see them preferring to hang onto him.

Erick Fedde is their third and final trade asset of any consequence.

Maybe a pen arm? MAYBE Jimenez? But not much there. Hard to get anything for Eloy, because he is always hurt. How about B. Davis for Eloy? Would the Cubs do that? Does Eloy(if healthy) help the offense? Our often injured prospect for their often injured major league player.

We have enough no-defense-won't-provide-value-from-anywhere-besides-offense types. I don't see how he helps much. He's been trash at the plate the last 2 years too.
