I know it's barely game 2, but I'm hoping for a lot of success for Michael Busch.

He reached twice on Thursday, right?

So Kyle sucks, huh?

Today at least.  I’m sure he’ll have vintage games too but definitely a little nervous especially with Steele and Taillon out

Here to say "the rotation order doesn't matter"

Hendricks pitching 5th than rather 2nd would be fewer starts. That would matter if they were serious about winning a division and being competitive in the playoffs. But they're not.

1) this assumes the order will remain the same all year long, it won't which is most of Derwood's point

2) even then, 'fewer starts' in this context is like a maximum of 2 starts, not meaningful

At least we get the Rockies at Wrigley next?

it will be the 2nd straight series at Wrigley against the Rockies

Not if most of it gets rained out.

We aren’t because Ricketts won’t allow it. Period! Continuing  to harp on it isn’t going to change it. I can agree with you that he has the money and he should do what’s necessary. I completely understand your point. I have even made the same point. But it isn’t going to change anything. They are not going to that level.

Yeaaaaah, but they need to stop with the "There is money to spend, we're just looking for value" line they've been spouting. Several "value deals" were there to be had and they sat on there hands.

Have they considered NOT weakly popping it up over and over?

The pitcher’s fastball has a late tail away.

Kyle’s change is not fooling them. I wonder if he is tipping somehow.
