eberflus has, a few times, referenced the preseason snap totals rookies got in the past few years (mentioned stroud, richardson and others specifically, iirc) and suggested they'll look to be somewhere in that range with caleb.

i don't want him to play a whole lot, but i do think it's probably a good idea for him to at least have a few reps under his belt if only for the procedural stuff in the huddle and at the line.

It really baffles the mind. So he won't play game 1 and starters notoriously don't play in the last preseason game. So we're going to have a rookie QB, in a year where the playoffs are realistic,  throw maybe 20 passes before week 1. Sounds like a great plan, he certainly doesn't need extra time to get acclimated to the NFL or anything.

Extra preseason game thi year. If I had to guess 10 snaps game 2 and entire first half game 3( the only home preseason game)

We never read such things about Tribisky or Fields, it’s promising, suggesting the Bears have a chance at a real NFL offense.

I hate hearing that Sweat is turning Wright into J'Marcus Webb on the field. I'm concerned all good pass rushers are gonna do that. Hopefully Sweat makes him a better player for it but there doesn't seem to be much development from day to day yet. Sweat has been working him over consistently.
