Honestly it looks like he’s changing his approach to fit him hitting leadoff. Took a really patent walk his first PA, took 2 strikes in that one

Absolutely not, even on zero pitches his command is a tossup and he'd likely face PH + top of the order.  Leiter/Cuas/Smyly/Merryweather should all be available, gotta trust 2 of those to get 6 outs (plus the chance of more offense)

After watching Tauchman miss a catchable (for PCA) fly ball yesterday I don’t blame them for wanting him in there earlier. It’s not like Tauchman is terrible defensively but still

Adding on to the Canario->Tauchman->PCA decision, is Mastrobuoni that much better a defender than Wisdom that it was worth it to set up an almost certain LHRP facing him and PCA?
