Cincy is now at a dozen straight wins (and still have a negative RD).

time for them to crash

BaseRuns, which I feel is more accurate than pythag, has them even worse at 34-42. What we're seeing is smoke and mirrors. Those wins are banked but unless the Reds get their pitching staff in order, regression is coming for them in a big way.

Wainwright seems to always put on a vintage performance against us. Hopefully being on a different continent throws him off

They’re 20-6 in their last 26 games. Here’s the spread of their margin of victory/defeat in those games:

One run win: 9

Two run win: 5

Three run win: 3

4+ run win: 3

One run loss: 1

Two run loss: 1

Three run loss: 1

4+ run loss: 3

Yeah, exactly. Look at yesterday's win. They beat Atlanta by scoring 11 runs on nine hits. They also had six walks but teams just aren't going to regularly score 75% of their baserunners, especially against the Braves.

And they won by one run.

I see "Advocate Health Care" patches on left sleeve and London Series on right sleeve. no cub bear and C logo

Ump squeezed Steele against Carlson and then called a pitch 3 inches high as a strike, so that's interesting

Yeah, supposedly that's a London thing (Yankees and Red Sox did it in 19) but a potential preview of the ads the Ricketts will inevitably sell on the regular jerseys
