Yeah it seemed like Happ gave up on it a bit too soon but whatever.  The no hitter would have been over much earlier without that great Tauchman catch.

I don't know. That ball was hit pretty hard. Could Happ have caught it, and are those the type of plays that someone usually has to come up with for a successful no-hit bid?  Yeah, probably.

Watching it again a few times, Happ didn't take a great route to the ball.  He ran more parallel to the wall rather than angling back toward the wall to give himself a chance to make the catch.  He probably did the "right" thing for most situations to not turn the hit into a triple, but this wasn't most situations.
